Learn About Hypoglycemia

Hypoglycemia is a condition that occurs when your blood sugar (glucose) is too low. The reason I am writing about hypoglycemia is because my mom has it. She has lived with it over 30 years. That is a picture of my mom.

Let me back up a minute and tell you about her before she was diagnosed with this condition. She would be talking on the phone…back then all phones had wires, so she would be in the kitchen. I would hear her fall and run in there. She would be past out on the floor cold. Now, I was a young fellow then. It scared me to death. Here lies my mom and she is not responding to me. She is breathing, but that is it.

The person on the phone told me to put a cold rag on her head, and she would be right over. By the time she arrived, my mom was coming to. What a relief :) She explained to her friend that she had been to the doctor for this multiple times, but they found nothing wrong.

One day, while at work…she worked at a plant called Wix which made car filters, she fainted on the assembly line. They called 911 and she was rushed to the hospital. Still the doctors could not find anything. They told her to follow up with her regular doctor.

When she went to her doctor, he recently read a study on hypoglycemia. He did a 5 hour long test. She had to drink orange juice get her blood tested and then wait. She had to consume different items and then have her blood tested. He diagnosed her with hypoglycemia. The good news he said she could control it with diet.

She went to a dietitian. My mom would eat like half a candy bar while working and that was it until she had dinner. She learned she had to eat every three hours. That was a big change for her. She had to stay away from certain fruits, potatoes, white bread and rice. She could not eat her candy bars, which was a Reese Cup, anymore. That was a drag, because she would bring half of it home to me and my brother. She could only drink sugar free drinks. This the time when this woman would use a cup of sugar in a half a gallon of tea. BIG CHANGE.

The doctor told her that when she ate something with sugar her sugar would go really high then in would bottom out and that was causing her to faint. She had other symptoms as well: blurred vision, sweating, fatigue, and headaches. There are even more symptoms other people with hypoglycemia have experienced like confusion, ill feeling, nervousness,
rapid heart rate, trembling.

One more thing, my mom is 63 years old and has had hypoglycemia for over 30 years. She has never been overweight. In fact, her metabolism went up when she started eating every 3 hours and has stayed that way all these years. She has more energy than most people that are in their 20’s. We actually think her eating habits before she was diagnosed was the cause of her having this condition.

I hope everyone can understand that eating healthy will serve you right for years to come.

Yours in Love, Light and Prosperity,
Jaden

It Is Never Too Late To Get Fit

by Jaden Daniels on August 24, 2010

I have been overweight for about 5 years, now. I used to workout six times a week. Three days I did resistance training and three I would do cardio. I was fit then. So, what happened?

My girlfriend (at the time) and I bought a convenience store. We opened at 6:00am and closed at 12:00am for 7 days a week. It was just me and her running the store, so we were there all the time. We had no place to workout at the store, and when we came home we were too tired.

Our eating habits took a turn for the worst. By law, we could not have a stove at the store. We could have a microwave, hotdog steamer and that was it. So, we would indulge in hotdogs, BBQ (we heated up in the microwave), precooked hamburgers, (we heated up in the microwave) and chips. We also had candy bars, cakes, and soft drinks.

We gained and gained. I want tell you how much, but enough to say something has to be done. First of all, we decided that it was important to us to have a day just for us. We started closing the store on Sundays. We decided that most people should have what they want for the night by 10:00 pm. (the robberies we had helped with that decision)

When we were inspected I asked the lady if we could have a George Foreman grill and a crock pot, so we can cook our supper. She agreed that would be fine as long as we did not sell anything we cooked. Our diet changed tremendously.

We cut out all chips, crackers, and sugar. We continued to drink diet soft drinks at this time. We recently cut those out of our diet, too. We also bought all lean meat. We started eating 100% whole wheat bread.

We would choose a sirloin steak over a T-Bone. We chose the 96% fat free ground beef. We would choose a skinless breast over dark meat. We stayed away from pork. Pigs are full of toxins and have more fat than beef, chicken and venison.

We would put dry beans in the crock pot with an onion and other spices. We stay away from cooking oil. We do use coconut oil for flavoring and if we are at home for a little stir fry. More on why coconut oil is a better choice than olive oil in a later post.

We would have spinach leaves, tomatoes (well my wife would eat tomatoes, not I), low fat cheese with fat free dressings. I make my own ranch dressing with fat free sour cream, skim milk, pepper, and Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning. The dressings we bought did not contain high fructose corn syrup. We stay away from high fructose corn syrup as much as possible.

We would cook us a potato in the microwave. We would eat it with fat free sour cream and a little Smart Balance Butter. The serving is very small and we do not eat it often.

With these changes, we started losing weight. We have not started working out again, yet. (Until today) We are making changes that we can live with the rest of our lives. I will keep you posted on our progress and maybe it will help some of you.

If you like this post please share it and retweet by clicking the buttons at the top of the post. I look forward to hearing your comments and suggestions.

I know you might be thinking I am trying to recruit you into my business. Actually, I am advising against this company. Before I start, I am putting my opinion out there to let people know the information I received. The company may be okay for some.

Anyway, I joined a this network marketing company about 8 months, ago. I believed in the product, because it was about self development. I am all into personal growth, so I thought this business was the business for me.

Let me tell you a little bit about this company. You pay $1000 to join, initiation fee. You pay $150 dues every month. The $150 was for cd’s and a book each month. Well they decided to put the audio and audio on the website to download. You also could go to conferences free of charge.

Well the only book I remember even seeing on the website was “The Law of Success In Sixteen Lessons” by Napoleon Hill. The audios were Kevin Trudeau and others. Some of the ones by Kevin Trudeau was the he did back when he was in a network marketing company back in the seventies. Don’t get me wrong the material was very informative, but I don’t know if it was worth that much money. You could get past conferences in audio format, too.

One other thing I really didn’t like about the company is for my wife to be able to go to the conferences, we had to pay and extra $50 a month. To add a family member, you have to pay extra a month for them to be a part of the business. I know some network marketing companies let you sign up your spouse if you want but that is your decision. My wife and I wanted to build it together, but that was not going to happen.

I could never go to the conferences, because I couldn’t leave our store for a whole weekend. I am sure they would have been fun.

I have read many of books on personal development. Some of the books, Kevin Trudeau recommends reading. I have already. Yes, Kevin Trudeau is the one of the founders, developers whatever you want to call him. Some of the audios were good, some not so good.

I did a lot of soul searching for a couple of months. I asked for guidance in making some decisions. One was to show me if this business was for me. I dreamed that night about going down another path. I could tell you my whole dream, but it would sound crazy. I know what it meant. So, I decided to cancel my membership with the Global Information Network.

When I went to the website, click to cancel. It said you will be sent to a cancellation form page. I clicked on it and below is what I copied from that page:

Account Cancellation
I understand that cancelling my membership in the Global Information Network is final. If I ever to choose to apply for membership in GIN again, my membership application will most likely be denied. If my new membership application is approved, I will be required to pay a new initiation fee of $250,000 USD. I also understand that all information about GIN, it’s website contents, other member identities, and any and all data I have learned or obtained from GIN shall never be revealed to anyone for any reason.

We are an informational organization. We are a “member sharing with other members” private association. We do not provide financial planning, tax, legal, investment, or medical advice. Consultation with independent expert advisors is strongly recommended. We are not a business opportunity.

I was blown away. $250,000 dollars. You got to be kidding me.

I wanted to put this out there. Please, check out the company you are interested in before you spend that kind of money. I know GIN is probably a good company for some. I just think that everything that you get from GIN you can get on your own for a fraction of the cost. I know the conferences are probably great to hang out with other entrepreneurs, but you can hang out with entrepreneurs with other companies, too.

If you are in GIN and reading this, this is just my opinion. I am not going to say I feel ripped off, be, because I know everything happens for a reason. I learned a lesson, and now it is time to move on. I realize now that I need to figure out my passion and follow it. I need to be me and then find the right company.

Saying “No” Is Not Always Bad

by Jaden Daniels on August 17, 2010

Figuring out how to say “no” is not a bad thing. For years, I did exactly what people expected of me. I did not want any one to be disappointed in me, so I always did what people asked.

I would get asked to hook up car stereos. I love to hook them up, but people would call me that never dialed my number before to ask me to do it. They expected me to do it for nothing, so of course I did.

Same goes for connecting home theater equipment, detailing cars, working on computers, doing karaoke parties, or just giving some body a ride somewhere. It was endless what I should have said “no” to, but I didn’t.

I have said previously that I went through a stage of soul searching. I realized that I did all these things; because I wanted to be liked…I wanted everyone to know I was a good person. I also realized that I was not doing things I should have to better myself.

I had to ask myself some tough questions: If I say “no” what is the worst that can happen. This person can get mad at me. This person can badmouth me. This person will be disappointed in me.

Well, I considered who the person was first. If it were my wife, parents or children, I would do anything to make them happy. My family does not take advantage of me. Every time I am asked to do something for my parents they always offer to pay me. They know I don’t want their money, but sometimes they force it on me.

On the other hand, there are those I do not consider family, and really don’t consider a friend. I guess you could say they are acquaintances. They call you once in six months expecting you to jump because they asked you to do something.

Well, I have finally started saying “no’. Letting people know that my time is just as valuable. It really feels good that I can finally stand up and say you are not going to take advantage of me anymore.

It was a hard lesson, but I finally learned it…It only took 41 years. :)

I want to add this. My wife was sick not too long ago. She had Staph infection in her leg. We own a convenience store. I had three friends that ran the store for nothing, so I could be at the hospital with her. My friends, I would do anything for, but I don’t consider those three my friends, they are part of my family.

I wanted to add that, because I will always be here to help anyone as long as I feel appreciated. I just think there are too many people taking advantage of others who are kind. The people who are kind do not expect anything in return, but they do expect appreciation.

So I guess everything bowls down to this; help others, but do not get taken advantage of. It is alright to say “no” to those who are unworthy of you.

Addictions…You Can Overcome Them

by Jaden Daniels on August 7, 2010

Everyone has an addiction or has had an addiction of some sort. Some people are addicted to food, which is triggered by some kind of emotion. The same goes for alcohol and drugs. All of these addictions are a result of someone not being happy with their true self.

Look at the people who are addicted to drama. You know these people have to be miserable. I know a few people that are like that which I have distant myself from. I couldn’t handle that negative energy around me.

I have to say that I am addicted to Diet Mountain Dew. I know how bad it is for me, but I keep drinking them. I recently read that you can overcome your addictions if you ask your Spirit Guides for help.

I decided hey what do I have to lose. I asked to be released from my addiction to Diet Mountain Dew, today. I will let you know what happens.

I have been doing a lot of soul searching the past couple of months. I realized that I was unhappy. I couldn’t figure out why.

Of course, I wanted my online business to grow, but I couldn’t concentrate on it at all. Why couldn’t I concentrate? Why did I feel guilty that my fiancee was running our store expecting me to get us out of there? Don’t get me wrong, I did help in the store, but not as much as I used to, so I could start a business from home.

As I was saying, I could not concentrate. I would look at my website. I know I could make it better, but what do I do. I could turn the computer off, and think to myself a 100 things to change. When I would turn the computer back on, my mind would go blank.

One day Christi (my fiancee) and I were at a friends house. Her name is Terri Tomberlin. (She just started her website, please check it out: http://www.territomberlin.com) I was telling her about the way I was feeling. She would ask me questions, and say “I don’t know why I am asking you this, but I am guided to do so” As I was answering, I was amazed at what came out of my mouth. She knew exactly what I was feeling.

I wanted to be me, but I didn’t know how to tell people. How am I going to tell people about the real me? She told me to ask for guidance, and it will come.

I did just that, and I explained to those I needed to, and now, I feel like a new man. I was amazed at the positive feedback I received, too.

I just want to say to everyone that is struggling to be comfortable in their on skin, you can have the confidence to walk with your head held high. The people you think will turn their backs on you probably will not…if they do you don’t need them anyway.

Just ask for guidance and you will receive it, just like I did.

Coming soon how to ask for guidance.

Yours in peace, light and love,
Jaden

What Is Your Teach-Ability Index?

by Jaden Daniels on May 31, 2010

I have studied the law of attraction for a few months, now. I noticed that some people used to believe in it, and then they think it doesn’t work because they did not receive something they thought they wanted.

Well, I have learned you have to be teachable and your willingness to change has to be high, too. Let me try to explain.

On a scale to 1 – 10, how teachable do you think you are? What is your willingness to change?

If you told me you wanted to make $10,000 a month, and I asked well…are you teachable? You would probably say yes! If I asked are you willing to give up the thing you love the most for awhile to learn what you need to learn, what would you say?

Would you give up golf for a year? Would you give up watching television? Would you give up going out to eat? You have to be willing to change and be teachable for this all to work.

If you are going to do the same thing everyday and expect different results…well we all know that is insane.

This was a hard lesson for me to learn. I thought I was teachable. I have read many books on staying positive. I have read many books on law of attraction, and I started doing things taught in those books. I had some changes, but not many.

After I learned about the teach-ability index, I thought I was a 10. My willingness to learn was a 10, but my willingness to accept change was a 0, and 10 times 0 is 0.

I realize I had to change, so my index started creeping up the scale. I analyzed my life…what I did everyday. My girlfriend and I spent way too much money eating out. I knew that had to change. I spent too much time on facebook and youtube.

The thing I love the most was going out to eat. There is nothing to do in this small town, except for going out to eat. I didn’t like staying at home. I was bored. Well, needless to say, I gave up going out to eat.

My whole daily routine has changed for the better. I am more productive with my time, and I do things that I enjoy, and the law of attraction is working for me.

So, what is your teach-ability index? What is your willingness to change? Change things in your life and things in your life will change.

Everyone has heard if you believe you can conceive. I noticed that a lot of people make the mistake of NOT having a chief aim…a main focus.

You need a chief aim if you intend on making your dreams come true. Don’t get me wrong, you can achieve everything you want, but if you put the focus on one thing that gives you a burning desire you will be able to achieve it quicker.

I was listening to a tape series that Kevin Trudeau made years ago. This is an exercise he taught to show you how to get your burning desire…your chief aim.

Here are the steps.

Take out a white piece of paper and use blue ink.
Write down everything you would DO, BE, HAVE, AND BUY if money was no object.
Do this everyday for a week. (You will continue to add to it everyday)
After 7 days, pick the one thing you want the most. That will be your burning desire.

Once you have your burning desire you will need to go dream building at least once a week. The more you dream build the faster you will receive your chief aim.

Kevin Trudeau has made millions at network marketing. He still does. The man knows what he is talking about, so try this exercise and let me know how it works for you.

I did this exercise. I use a dream book. I have what I have written in the front part of the book. I read back over it everyday, and change if my goals change.

The next section is where I put pictures. I use magazines pictures, plus, I take pictures when we go dream building.

The last section, I write down what I am going to do that week toward my dream. I write down where I am going to go to dream build. I write down what books I am going to read, and what audios I am going to listen too.

I review my book everyday. In fact, I keep this book with me at all times. It is amazing how many dreams I have already achieved.

I was reading a series of articles that a friend of mine posted. This blog is a result of reading her posts, which you should check out:  http://venusrecommends.com. Make sure to check out The Law of Laws Series.

Like I said this post is a result from reading that series. Getting your frequency to high level is important if you want to manifest your desires and dreams. Some people don’t know they are vibrating at low frequencies, so how can you tell?

If you are feeling good all the time then you are vibrating at higher frequencies. If you feel like Christmas is tomorrow and everything you want is under the tree, then you are vibrating at a high frequency, and your dreams will soon be manifested.

A lot of people start thinking positive. They do it for a little while then give up, because they see no results. Well one thing you need to remember, the Universe will give to you what you want when you are ready…not when you think you are ready to receive.

You need to always try to keep vibrating at high frequencies, so how can you do that all the time? Things in your life happen that makes you mad, upset, depressed angry, frustrated, and etc. You can change those negative low vibrations by doing a few things.

1. Learn the Tapping Technique. Gary Craig has a great book on it. It really works to change your vibrations.
2. Dance – Some people think they dance because they are feeling good when actually you dance to feel good.
3. Take a walk – something about taking a walk outside that changes your emotions.
4. Sing – singing makes you feel good inside. If you can’t sing then hum.
5. Read good books – Like Think and Grow Richand Ask & It Is Given
6. Play with a child
7. Play with a pet

All these things will make your frequencies higher. Give it a try.

We are programmed to be negative. Most things you watch on television are negative. Most music you hear is negative. The newspaper is filled with negativity. You can overcome this with practice. It does not happen over night, but it will come if you consciously think about how you feel. When you have a thought that makes you feel bad, do one of the techniques and feel better.

The more you keep your frequencies high the faster you will manifest your dreams.

If you found this article helpful please share with others and let’s help each other manifest our dreams and desires.

I wanted to post a short blog about advertising your company.

I have been using only online methods to brand myself. Giving value and make connections with others. Building TRUST!

Well, the other day I was listening to an audio from a very successful network marketer. He said he uses ads in the newspaper and gets people to call a number. On his voicemail he asks the lead to leave their name, address, and phone number. He mails out a letter explaining his businesses sending them to a website, then he calls a few days afterwards.

I decided to try this method, except I send people to a splash page right from the ad. I ask them to put in their name, email and phone number. When the person enters their information, they are sent to my affiliate site for my company. It is actually working well for me.

I know you are wondering…well how are you building that TRUST! I send a letter a few days after they enter their information. I type these letters, but I sign everyone personally. In the letter, I let the person know that I am a real person, and they can call me with any questions.

One of the main sentences I use in my letters is, this is not for everyone. It may not be for you, but if there is something I can help you with let me know. People start to open up a little more.

One thing I am working on is writing better ads. I am learning some copywriting techniques that I am applying as I learn them.

I thought I would put this out there. You may have success as well with it. Leave me a comment to let me know how it is working for you.
